As a consideration for the next client, please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I can either reschedule your appointment or provide a shorter service. I require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. For no-call/no-show situations, a credit card is required to book your next appointment.
If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. Additionally, if no-shows occur frequently, I may suspend the client's ability to book appointments online.

We've introduced a new contactless checkout option for your convenience. You can simply dip, tap, or swipe your card in the reader, and then complete your payment through a link sent to your phone. Isn't that handy? Please be aware that a $35 fee will apply for any returned payments, such as bounced checks or unsuccessful debit/credit card transactions. For tips, cash is preferred.
Due to high demand, especially during major holidays, it's recommended to book your appointment as early as possible. To ensure you get the most convenient date and time, consider scheduling your next one or two appointments during each visit.
If you haven't received a confirmation email or text after booking your appointment online, please contact me at grassrootshairstudio@gmail.com.
There's a chance that I might have old or outdated contact information on file for you. If you're not receiving any communication from me leading up to your appointments, please make sure to update your contact details with me during your next visit.
Certainly, you're welcome to bring your child to your appointment. However, I kindly request that you do so only when necessary, as it can affect the relaxing ambiance of the salon. As a fellow mom, I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise! If you need to bring your young child, please try to arrange for another adult to pick them up if possible.
Please also bring something to keep your child entertained during the appointment. According to Sola Salon's rules, children are not permitted to roam the hallways unattended or wander around the premises without an adult.

Before your appointment, I make it a priority to have a thorough consultation with you to discuss your goals and expectations for your hair. However, if I fall short of meeting those expectations and you're not satisfied with the outcome, please don't hesitate to let me know within 5 days. It's important to me that you're happy with your hair, and I'm committed to working with you to create a plan that exceeds your expectations.
We're facing a profound environmental crisis, and it's clear to me that the only way to effect positive change is to embody the change we wish to see in the world. By supporting brands that prioritize biodynamic ingredients, fair trade, and responsible packaging, I'm contributing to the healing of our beautiful planet—while also caring for ourselves.
Opening Grassroots has been more than just starting a hair salon for me. It's about making a meaningful impact and being the change I wish to see in the world. Grassroots is more than a place for hair; it's a space where people can come together, share ideas, and ignite conversations that lead to fresh insights and new ways of thinking.
I envision Grassroots as a community hub, a place where we can explore how each of us can make a difference in the world. Beauty products are just the beginning. By being mindful of the products we use and recognizing their transformative potential, we can make a positive impact on our lives and the world around us.
My aim for Grassroots is to create an environment that encourages open and honest discussions about significant issues like environmental concerns and social justice. By bringing people together, we can find ways to create positive change in our community and beyond. I see the salon as a powerful force for change, a place where ideas are exchanged, and conversations begin. Through these discussions, we can gain new perspectives, challenge our thinking, and work towards a more just and sustainable future, all while enjoying ourselves and making you feel beautiful.
